Ballet Etudes Student Achievements

Sanford Placide, a 2010 Graduate from Ballet Etudes School, has been offered full scholarships to the following summer programs: American Ballet Theatre,The Washington Ballet, Ballet Austin, & Ballet Houston. He also been invited to ABT's collegiate program, to the Washington Ballet as a Company Apprentice, and to Ballet Austin as a member of the second company. We are very proud of Sanford, and look forward to seeing his career develop.

Erika Gomez, Lauren Pedroso, and Amanda Regalado are the 2011 Graduation Candidates for Ballet Etudes School. Congratulations on achieving this milestone!

Melissa Folgueras, Co-Captain of the Barbara Goleman Jewels Dance Team, helped bring her team a National Championship victory at the NDA National Championships on March 12 & 13 in Orlando, FL. 

Gabriela Morales, as Lieutenant of the Hialeah Gardens Senior High Dance Team, was part of the team that won 1st place (State Title) at the American Dance Alliance Competition on January 22nd in Miami, FL, as well as 1st place at the ADA Regional Competition on December 10th and the Cheer and Dance Competition on December 4th.

Amanda Martinez received a "Superior" rating, the highest accolade, for her soloist performance as part of Dade Christian School's Choir. Amanda along with Rachel Castro and Kristin Torroella also received a "Superior" rating from the judges as part of the Girls' Ensemble Performance.  

Class of 2011 College Acceptances:

Christi Plasencia has been accepted to University of Miami, Florida International University, University of Central Florida, St. Thomas University, Barry University, Chestnut Hill College, King's College, Robert Morris University, and Souther Wesleyan University. She has been offered scholarships at each school and is in the top 6% of her graduating class at Archbishop McCarthy High School.
